Dead Empire (2024) / Experimental Documentary

Dead Empire is a free adaptation of Hüseyin Aksoy's exhibition named "What Exactly Did We Watch?". This film discusses authority, the decay of bureaucracy, and its effect on people through Hüseyin Aksoy's artworks which have been presented in that exhibition.

Still Here... (2018)/ Narrative Short Movie

Taner Arpacı, the painter, and the photographer go to Şile for the wedding anniversary with his wife. On the way back to the home they have a traffic accident. His wife passes away in the accident. He has a narrow escape. Taner for a while inward closure himself. He tries to get rid of the loneliness and starts taking pictures. In the photographs he accidentally takes, ghosts appear.

Still Here... is a student project and also my graduation film.
